The Souls of These Boots: A Collection of Poems is Joseph Alton Miller's first attempt as an author. This collection includes dozens of selected poems written over the first few months of 2019.

Joseph Alton Miller is a singer/songwriter from Monmouth County, New Jersey. His award-winning music has been recognized by No Depression Magazine, The Aquarian Weekly, NJ.com, and many other publications. He has shared stages with Brandi Carlile, Robert Randolph, Ellis Paul, Richard Shindell, and even the infamous 90's hip-hop group, Bone Thugz-n-Harmony. Joseph is also an accomplished hiker/backpacker, photographer, and devoted husband and father. The Souls of These Boots is his first book.
